Nice to Meet You, im daisy

Even before I began my journey as a creative and jewellery designer, sustainability and the protection of our planet have always been important to me.  Daisy Knights jewellery is synonymous as a jewellery brand that is eco-conscious, and that thrives on originality married with timeless design.

It was whilst studying at London’s Central Saint Martins that my career began to take off. And as soon as I graduated, my kind-to-earth label launched on Net-a-Porter.  I won several awards including Cosmopolitan Magazine’s Ultimate Woman in Fashion and Beauty in 2011 and, before I knew it, I was designing exclusive collections Asos, Net-a-Porter and Harvey Nichols.

Despite my achievements, something didn’t sit right with my conscience. Being part of the Industry felt like I was feeding the very consumerism I was trying to fight against.  I stopped selling into shops and concentrated on my personal site and with my bespoke work.

After 10 years in the fashion and jewellery industry partnering with brands such as Lacoste, Olay, Vans, Urban Outfitters (to name but a few!), I’ve closed my studio to focus on yoga and wellness.  I want to share a service rather than a product. I believe that to truly be kind to the planet we need to change our consumer behaviours and I cannot honestly purvey this message whilst simultaneously contributing to the very industry that relies on it. I am currently on my YTT200 (Yoga Teacher Training 200 Hours) and will use this website to blog about my journey through the training, sustainability, past career highs and being better at life.
